In the United kingdom, Trident Ploughshares organised two blockades. This is the home base of the four British nuclear weapons submarines.

In France the group 'Non au missile M51' organised a civil inspection at the air force base Mont de Marson, near Bordeaux. This base hosts one of the depositories of nuclear missiles of the French air force. In total there are seven bases with nuclear weapons.

Both France and the United Kingdom possess 'proper' nuclear weapons which also have a role withing the NATO strategical concept.
But also the European bases with Nuclear weapons got a visit.

In Belgium Vredesactie organised another Bombspotting action at the airforce base of Kleine Brogel. About 1000 Bomspotters got on the military base to pick nick on the landing strip, took part in a vigil of Pax Christi or set up their own non-violent action.

In the Netherlands the action group Ontwapen staged a 'clean-up action' at the base of Volkel. After a manifestation with music and speeches, several people crossed the fence to start cleaning up the base.

In Germany, besides the traditional Easter marches, which this year was also organised around the theme of nuclear disarmament, a manifestation took place at the base in Büchel.

Büchel and Volkel are the German and Dutch equivalents of the base of Kleine Brogel and each probably hosts twenty American Nuclear weapons.

In Italy already in March an action took place against the placed nuclear weapons.
