Peace activists locate and film nuclear weapon shelters on military base of Kleine Brogel
Belgian bombspotters who campaign against nuclear weapons have filmed the nuclear weapon shelters on the military base of Kleine Brogel. They visited most hardened aircraft shelters on the base and located 8 of the 11 nuclear weapon storage shelters. They also succeeded in taking pictures inside one of the nuclear aircraft shelters.

2010: NOW OR NEVER FOR NUCLEAR WEAPONS
Around the Easter weekend all over Europe peace organisations staged actions at nuclear weapon bases and command centres, as part of a European day of action against nuclear weapons. One month prior to the NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty) Review Conference, peace movements in all the European countries with nuclear weapons on their territory (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Turkey and the UK) gave a common message: it is time for nuclear disarmament. BELGIUM: a thousand bombspotters
In Belgium, a thousand people participated in the Bombspotting action organised by Vredesactie at the air force base of Kleine Brogel in the North East of the country. Hundreds of Bombspotters succeeded in peacefully trespassing onto the military air base, 431 people got arrested. Several actions took place alongside of the base as well. Pax Christi organised a vigil with 150 participants, while elsewhere 200 activists symbolically announced the future function of the base: 'nature reserve Kleine Brogel'.
THE NETHERLANDS: even shopping charts over the fence ...
On Saturday April 3rd Ontwapen! (a cooperation of anti-militarist organisations and individuals) and Actions against Nuclear Weapons organised a manifestation and action at the nuclear weapons base of Volkel in the South-east of the country.
200 people participated in a manifestation with several speakers and music. 35 people and six shopping carts went over, under and through the fence to dismantle the nuclear bombs.
FRANCE: succesful civil inspection of air force base
In France the group 'Non au missile M51' organised a civil inspection at the air force base Mont de Marsan, near Bordeaux. 60 people participated, of which 13 were able to enter the base.
Another protest took place in Brittany, as well as the day prior the monthly vigil in Paris
